Yosemite Falls by BradLeeDaleNorth Yosemite Falls by BradLeeDaleNorth
A very traditional view of Upper and Lower Yosemite Falls. Together, these two make up the tallest waterfall in North America, the equivalent of nine Niagara Falls. This was a great way to foreshadow our trip because two days after this was taken we decided to hike to the very top of the falls; quite a sight to behold.

Very nice shot :)

you should know though, it is not the tallest waterfall in North America. [link]

Very tall though!!

10 . James Bruce Falls 2,755 ft 840 m British Columbia Canada
14 . Colonial Creek Falls 2,568 ft 783 m Washington United States
18 . Johannesburg Falls 2,465 ft 751 m Washington United States
19 . Yosemite Falls 2,425 ft 739 m California United States
(there are also some on Hawaii that are taller, but I don't think they count)

No worries! I know it was kind of a good/bad thing when I learned about what the real heights were of some waterfalls. Good to know the facts, bad to know my "Gotta go see" travel list had to get so much bigger!
