A beautiful morning spent at the largest natural spring in the U.S, located in South Central Missouri. With an average daily flow of over 300 million gallons, it's also one of the largest in the world. This photo is from early in the day in an attempt to highlight the thick fog and soft filtered morning light. As the morning progressed, the mood and atmosphere of this area changed rapidly, providing many opportunities for some great photography. Even though this was an impromptu, last minute, one-day journey, it was a much needed escape to reconnect with the outdoors and enjoy some peace and quiet with a wonderful lady and fellow photographer.
