Fantastic shot! I feel like I'm seeing the merging of two different worlds. :) One is dusty and dry, the other one is snowy... Bravo.

Thank you so much! It was pretty neat seeing the snow only on one side. When standing at this spot, both of those features are on the left and right of me. The panorama really flattened it out turning 360 into 180 almost.

This is a very interesting image. I like and don't like it at the same time and i'm not really sure why, which makes it even more interesting!!!

I can understand that. It's a 360 degree pano which can be odd. The highway and the outer road meet near the middle of the photo but on the extreme left and right you can see them separate. I had just gotten my grad nd filters and with such a contrasted scene I figured it would be a great time to use them. Thanks for the comment!

Can you tell me what software are you using for creating panoramas? I would love to try it:)

Photomerge in Photoshop CS3. I owe this shot to my grad nd filters though.

Yep, it's time for me to learn how to use photoshop. I had somewhere cs2, hope it will do. I got only ir filter, so the effect might be a little different, but worth trying anyway :) thanks again!

Very nice. You can really see how the filters help here when there is actually a blue sky for you to shoot. Wish I would have taken that tuesday off with you guys instead of monday but I still had a blasty blast. Nice contrast in colors too. And I like seeing bob dicking around too :D
