On a cool June day in Grand Teton National Park, heavy cloud cover obscured the magnificent peaks of the range. While on a short day hike, I kept my eyes towards them, regardless of the clouds. Diffused light combined with sporadic breaks in the clouds created a wonderful effect on the rough and jagged rock, contrasted with the bright, smooth snow.
