Sunrise light partially illuminates the higher reaches of Tenaya Canyon above Mirror Lake. They really make it hard for a bad photo to be taken from views like this, you just have to be willing to wake up early enough to catch the light.

looking at such a nice picture which is captured with that angle, i want to grow wings and fly around that hills :aww: :hug: .. and feeling jealous of birds atm =P

Indeed! Especially since I really only see sunsets from this vantage point. I feel like sunrise was a little more special and worth the effort.
